2010 Women’s Regatta

Behind every powerful woman is a supportive man

And the Eh Team has quite a clan,

There’s Bill and Bill and Bob and Daren,

Who all came out to support their harem,

And then Geoff and Ingvar and Montreal Doug,

We need to give you all a great big hug.

Even some spouses came out to see

What all the hoopla about might be

We thank you all from the bottom of our heart

And one thing is for sure, we always had a great start

It was great to have you at the dock

Our power must have given you quite a shock

And didn’t we all look mighty fine?

With roses on our cheeks this time.

And Ingvar had us up on the website in a flash

With pictures almost showing our crash

But some of us were surprised once more

Since our images ended up on the cutting room floor.

Thanks to Judi and her organizing skills

Since her steering gave some of us the chills

But dear Judi, please don’t despair,

Since this team has already been there.

We know that sometimes to get from point A to B

You have to take a detour and sight see

Or if the other boat gets too close

You quickly cut them off just by a nose

For your first regatta you did just fine

But we’re hoping for no crashes next time

And to all the Eh Team’s delicate flowers

One thing is for sure – you are superpowers!

Way to go ladies!!!
