The Eh Team is a Dragon Boat Racing Team, formed in the year 2000 for men and women 55 years of age and over, looking for a sport with a challenge.

The team is comprised of 20 paddlers, a steer person, drummer and coach. (Our team roster is kept at 26-28 paddlers to accommodate people on vacation etc.).

We are a dragon boating racing team and enter races from May to September and although we are a Senior's team we compete against all teams no matter what the age.

We are members of the False Creek Racing Canoe Club located on Granville Island and practice twice a week at False Creek on Wednesday & Friday mornings with a warm-up at 9:15a.m. and on the water from 9:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. rain or shine.

In the past nine years we have raced in Vancouver at the Alcan Festival, other local races include our own club races, Richmond and the Taiwanese Festival. We have also raced in Port Moody, Seattle, Victoria, Kelowna and will be in San Francisco this year too.

We have won numerous Ribbons, Bronze, Silver, Gold Medals and a Top Senior Team Award.

We are a fun team dedicated to the sport of dragon boat racing. Or team motto is:

"We paddle for fun but we race to win"

As part of our community service efforts we have introduced hundreds of school aged children to dragonboating. Many of these students were from ESL classes and had never been on the ocean before or in a dragonboat. It has been a most rewarding experience for our team and also for the students.
